EThames welcomed the batch of 2021 with the Orientation Programme conducted on 2nd of September 2021. During the challenging times of the pandemic, EThames was operating online. The Orientation session was conducted on Zoom platform and all the freshers were invited. In this session, the students were introduced to the culture of EThames, what they can expect from the institution and what the institution expects from them. The introductory briefing by the Principal set the tone for the entire event. The Chairman, the Principal and all the teaching and non-teaching staff were formally introduced to the students. Every committee briefed the students about their roles and expectations from them. The Disciplinary Committee communicated the behavioural standards that are required by the institution, the dress code, gender sensitivity, punctuality and online etiquette whenever students gathered on an online platform. The Academic Head explained how the day to day operations happen at EThames. She also went on to explain how lectures are delivered and how the student examination system works. Finally, the vote of thanks was proposed to end the session on a positive note.
