TeenOrator™ Foundations

For Communication Leadership

TeenOrator™ Foundations is a immersive programme combining three of the world’s most powerful speaking traditions — structured debate, TED-style storytelling, and Toastmasters-style stage presence. Students learn to argue, to persuade, to craft a narrative, and to own a room. The programme culminates in a Final Presentation Day before a live panel.

What sets this program apart

Three globally respected traditions woven into a single curriculum: TED-style storytelling, Toastmasters style public speaking, Tarkashastra (Indian logic and debate)
Clear learning sequence: thinking → structuring → speaking → persuading → debating
Maximum practice, minimum lecture — students are on their feet from Day 1
Every student delivers a live TED-style talk and participates in a formal debate on the final day
The only programme where stage fear is addressed explicitly from Session 1

Program Curriculum

Module 1

Foundations of Communication & Confidence

Stage fear addressed head-on from Day 1. Students deliver an unscripted 1-minute talk in Session 1 and build from there. Confidence rituals, breath control, and audience-first thinking introduced practically. Activities: speak about a random object for 90 seconds with no preparation; explain AI to a 10-year-old in 90 seconds.

Module 2

Storytelling Mastery — TED Framework

Students learn to identify one powerful idea, build it into a structured story using the Hero’s Journey and throughline concept. By end of module, each student has a complete Teen TED Talk drafted and ready for delivery coaching. Activities: deconstruct a TED talk, find the throughline; map personal story to Hero’s Journey.

Module 3

Public Speaking Mastery — Toastmasters Model

Turning a great script into a great performance. Vocal technique, body language, stage presence, eye contact, impromptu speaking (Table Topics), and persuasive speaking. Students evaluate each other’s speeches using Toastmasters structured feedback methods.

Module 4

Tarkashastra Debate & Logical Thinking

The ancient Indian tradition of structured reasoning. Students learn to construct valid arguments, recognise logical fallacies, rebut under pressure, and engage in formal parliamentary debate. Activities: identify the fallacy in 10 real arguments; first full parliamentary debate round.

Module 5

Influence & Leadership Communication

Ethical persuasion — the difference between influence and manipulation. How leaders communicate in crisis, how to handle hostile questions, how to project authority without aggression. Activity: handle a hostile Q&A panel.

Module 6

TeenOrator™ Grand Showcase

Every student performs before a live audience. They deliver their Teen TED Talk and participate in a structured debate. A jury of communication professionals provides live feedback. Certificate ceremony.
